Danielle & Jesse | CT Wedding | Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club

Danielle and Jesse’s Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club wedding combined many beautiful elements that made for a memorable wedding celebration!  From an elegant and classic ceremony, to a couple that is sweet as can be, this day was one for the books.

Their love story first began at work where they met, but only admired one another from afar until a chance encounter at the photocopier where one thing led to another and they soon started dating. Jesse proposed to Danielle on the Brooklyn Bridge, a very special location for them for numerous reasons. Danielle's favorite place in the world is NYC, and NYC had such an impact on the beginning of Jesse and Danielle's relationship, as it is where their very first date was and where most of the beginnings of their relationship took root. Danielle is a bridge engineer and has always loved the Brooklyn Bridge; their passionate mindsets are one of the many things Jesse and Danielle love about each other. One of Jesse and Danielle's first dates involved walking across the Brooklyn Bridge almost a year to the day that Jesse proposed.

Danielle and Jesse each got ready at the Omni Hotel alongside their closest family members and friends.  When they were dressed and ready for the day, everyone made their way to the church where the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. would become husband and wife.  After exchanging vows and sharing their first kiss, Danielle and Jesse walked back up the aisle together, hand in hand, as smiles beamed across their faces.

After the ceremony, we made our way to the reception venue for photos along the water.  Danielle stunned in an elegant yet contemporary off the shoulder gown featuring delicate lace details and a flowing train.  Jesse looked equally dapper in a classic tuxedo.  The wedding party tied everything together beautifully with the bridesmaids in airy slate-blue dresses and groomsmen in black tuxedos. The group portraits captured the energy of the day: laughter, celebration, and that unmistakable just-married glow. The wedding colors and theme were based on blue hydrangeas and white roses inspired by the New England shoreline. They carried this color palette throughout all the details and decor including the invitations, ceremony programs, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, bridesmaids' dresses, and in Pine Orchard itself.

Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club is nestled along the shores of Branford, a picturesque coastal Connecticut town.  It provided an idyllic backdrop for Danielle and Jess’s wedding celebration.  The breathtaking waterfront views and lush greenery matched the classic vibe of their coastal New England wedding.

The newlyweds were celebrated by their loved ones that evening with heartfelt toasts and hours of dancing.  They included many personal touches in their special day, including having a table with their parents, grandparents and great-grand parents wedding photos. They also included little messages in a bottle on each dining table with significant places throughout their relationship. Danielle also had personalized charms on her bouquet with the photos of her grandparents who are no longer with them. Lastly, their wedding day was also Jesse's parents 45th Anniversary, so they surprised them with a special dance to celebrate their strong example of love.

Following their wedding, was an exciting honeymoon to Spain! Danielle and Jesse visited Madrid and Sevilla where they explored, relaxed, ate, and learned all of the fascinating history of that part of world.

Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for having us as a part of your wedding day!
