During a weekend visit to Lake Winnipesaukee, the couple decided to go for a hike—one of their favorite ways to spend time together. As they reached the top of Rattlesnake Mountain, with sweeping views of the lake where they first fell in love, Austin got down on one knee and asked Sam to be his forever.

After she said yes, they took a boat ride across the water, calling friends and family to share the joyful news. But the surprises weren’t over—when they arrived back at the house, all of their closest friends were there waiting to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter together.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration—an unforgettable vacation surrounded by their closest family and friends, filled with love, laughter, and sunshine.

A fun and fabulous detail? The Emara Estate Villa was once owned by Prince, which explains the charming purple accents scattered throughout the grounds—an unexpected, whimsical touch that added to the magic of the day.

The couple chose a soft, romantic color palette of pinks, golds, and greens. Sam’s favorite color, pink, added a soft, joyful glow that complemented the tropical beauty of the villa perfectly. The décor reflected their personalities with thoughtful, personalized touches—from subtle nods to their beloved pup to a custom dance floor decal that made the celebration feel uniquely theirs.

One of the most memorable and heartfelt elements was their audio guest book. Throughout the evening, guests left messages for the happy couple—moments of laughter, love, and well wishes that Sam and Austin can replay for years to come, each one a little time capsule of their incredible day.
