Heidi and Andres first met on orientation day at Iona University when attending the freshman ice cream mixer. Their relationship was platonic at first; they heckled each other and grew a very close friendship. Eventually their friendship grew into love.

Heidi’s 27th birthday was the perfect excuse for Andres to pull off something special. Andres spent hours thinking through every possible way to propose. He kicked things off with brunch, then treated her to her favorite gelato, and then took her to Pomerance Park. They strolled down their go-to trail, chatting and laughing as he shared some of his favorite memories. Eventually, they wandered into the field; right in front of the tree where they had their first kiss. It was “their spot.”

Heidi and Andres chose a small rustic Mexican restaurant in Brewster, NY with a beautiful view of the East Branch Reservoir. After seeing a video of the indoor and outdoor space, they knew it was where they wanted host their reception. Their color palette was a blend of sage, ivory, and gold making for a classic and elegant garden party. The favorite part of their day was being able to spend it with each of their guests.

After the wedding, the happy couple was off to Italy to explore Rome, Florence and Riomaggiore! We hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and we are grateful you asked us to be a part of your special day!
