Jennifer + Lewis | Riverview Wedding | CT Wedding Photography

Jennifer and Lewis met in 2014 at a party held by mutual friends. They were immediately drawn to one another and talked together the entire night. Two days later, they went on their first date: breakfast at a local restaurant and a walk along the river by Jennifer’s house. A few days later, they became exclusive.

In 2016, Jennifer and Lewis had just finished teaching a CCD class together. Afterwards, while debriefing about the class, the conversation turned to one regarding their future together. As Lewis walked Jennifer over to her car, he got down on one knee, took out the ring that represented his love and commitment to her, and asked her to marry him. She said, “Yes!” and leaped into his arms.

Jennifer and Lewis were married in early June at St. Joseph’s Church in Vernon, CT. This church is very special to them as Lewis went to school here and now they are both devout parishioners. A reception followed at The Riverview in Simsbury. They instantly fell in love with the venue for its daytime ambiance with its floor-to-ceiling windows, cathedral ceilings, crystal chandeliers, waterfront view, and romantic outdoor patio. It fit with the elegant and romantic wedding they both dreamed of.

To complete their special day, Jennifer and Lewis performed a choreographed routine for their first dance. It was beautiful and entertaining!

We hope these photos truly capture the love that radiated from Jennifer and Lewis on their wedding and how special a couple they are!
