Jessica & Mike | Lake of Isles Wedding | Wedding Photography

Jessica and Mike met during their sophomore year at Bentley University. Their dorm rooms were right next to each other but they didn’t realize it until they started chatting at a party. The rest, as they say, is history!

Mike proposed while vacationing in Bora Bora with Jessica and her family. Jess’s parents pretended to “win” a private boat ride over to a small island and they invited the couple to tag along. While taking pictures at sunset, Mike got down on knee and proposed! Jess was very surprised and obviously said “Yes!” The ring couldn’t have been more perfect as it incorporated her favorite gemstone: emeralds.

Jessica and Mike chose Lake of Isles as their wedding venue not only because it’s beautiful with great architecture and grounds, but also with Foxwoods right across the street, they wanted their guests to have a great time before, during, and after the wedding. We shot their engagement session at the same location too; it can be seen here.

Jessica chose mint green dresses for her bridesmaids with a beautiful blend of cream and peach flowers in their bouquets. These colors carried over into the décor and reception as well along with gold accents! Her own bouquet was a stunning classic with cascading white roses and lilies!

For his groomsmen, Mike gifted personalized flasks with caricatures imprinted on them. It was by far the most unique gift we’ve ever seen. They were a big hit!

Their day was simply perfect from the weather, to the outdoor ceremony, and all the fun afterwards! There were drinks, lots of food and dancing, and much love and affection radiating from the happy couple!

We hope you enjoy re-living your wedding again and again with these photos! So happy to be a part of this special time in your lives!
