Christine + Andrew | CT Wedding | The Farmington Club

Christine and Andrew were friends in high school and even went to prom together!  During college, they stayed in touch and often visited each other over breaks.  After they each finished their undergrad degrees, the timing felt right to start a relationship, and the rest is history!

Andrew proposed while they were away for a weekend in NYC. They were headed to see Christine’s favorite musician, Josh Groban. Beforehand, they visited Central Park where Andrew found the perfect spot to pop the question!  Later that night, Christine was lucky enough to get a picture with Josh at the stage door after his personal congratulations on their engagement!

Christine and Andrew chose the Farmington Club for both their ceremony and reception. They loved the classic elegance of the gardens and the clubhouse and Mother Nature cooperated with a beautiful, sunny day!

Christine chose the romantic summer hues of pink, ivory, and gold to tie in throughout the day. The bouquets included peonies, ranunculus, calla lilies, and light pink garden roses to compliment the bridesmaids’ dresses, and the ceremony and reception decor featured a number of gold accents.  With all of the natural light of the reception venue, the floral details, from the center pieces to the cake decorations, gave the space an elegant feel.

Of course, the day would not have been complete without a first dance to Josh Groban’s cover of “I Believe.”  The groomsmen even found a way to work Josh Groban lyrics into the toast!

We hope you enjoy re-living your wedding again and again with these photos! We are so happy to be a part of this special time in your lives!
