Ariel + Thomas | CT Wedding | Simsbury Inn

Ariel and Thomas first met in elementary school! She described herself then as a bookworm, and Thomas as the class comedian. They grew apart as they got older and never thought their paths would cross again. Years later, Thomas reached out to reconnect online. They talked for hours every day, even though a thousand miles were between them. The next time Thomas was visiting home, they had their first date. Even though they promised to "just wing it", they stayed together and now it’s been 5 years!

In 2018, Ariel and Thomas had planned a vacation to Asheville, NC. They went to the Biltmore Estate to take a tour of the mansion. Ariel's hands were so cold that she wouldn't let go of Thomas’s hand and he was nervous about how he was going to get the ring out his pocket! When she turned to take a picture of the scenery, he got down on one knee to ask her to be his forever!

Ariel and Thomas were married at Saint Edmund Campion Parish on the Saint Christopher Campus, which is where they attended school when they were growing up! Afterward, they chose to do wedding party photos and couple portraits at the Drake Hill Flower Bridge in Simsbury, followed by the reception at The Simsbury Inn.

The happy couple looked positively ecstatic as they celebrated with family and friends. Cutting their wedding cake and dancing the night away were just a few of the beautiful moments of the celebration. We loved the mix of classic and sophisticated details, including the cute wedding forever. Ariel and Thomas certainly were “Meant to Bee!”
