Amanda and Tom met at a Jiu-Jitsu gym while both were training on the same team. They soon found they had a lot more in common, including their love of traveling, especially to warm weather destinations!

Tom proposed at their apartment one evening when Amanda was hanging out with her girlfriends from high school. Tom went out for a bit, and when he returned, he was dressed in a suit and tie and holding a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of roses! Her friends began screaming and that’s when it dawned on Amanda that Tom was going to propose! It couldn’t have been a more perfect surprise!

Amanda and Tom were married surrounded by family and friends in an outdoor wedding ceremony in early October. Both the ceremony and reception were held at Maneeley’s Banquet and Catering. Amanda and Tom loved the rustic elegant charm of both the inside reception area and the landscape of the outside.

The color palette contained beautifully blended ivories, greens, and neutrals to capture an elegant wanderlust vision. We especially loved the shimmery lights that were weaved throughout the décor, giving the event an ethereal feel.
