Tamara + Ray's love story brought tears to our eyes. It all started back in high school where they began their friendship. Fast forward to year 2012, and you could find them also as friends on social media. It wasn't until Ray was having heart surgery and searching for someone to care for him and his daughter during recovery that Tamara stepped into his life.
Ray told us, he "tried numerous times after his surgery to have their relationship grow into something more" but that Tami insisted he was just to "geographically undesirable." Over the following six months, they got together on occasion - but it wasn't until many drinks at a mutual friend's dinner party, in the midst of a snow storm, that they shared their first kiss. (So romantic!!) It was December 26th, 2012, and they've been inseparable ever since.

Ray popped the question Labor Day weekend in 2014, surrounded by family. He presented Tami with an engagement ring made from her grandmother's diamond. We love the nostolgia factor!
They tied the knot at the beautiful Lake of Isles in North Stonington, CT - keeping the mood casual and elegant, with a bit of a rustic flare. Cobalt blue adorned details could be found throughout the wedding day, in flower bouquets and table settings. Ray and Tami both agree that the most memorable part of their day was greeting each other at the aisle. We are in love with the way Ray is beaming his eyes toward Tami as she walks toward him in the photo above. So emotional!
