LISA + KEVIN / ARIA / CONNECTICUT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Purple was the connecting color through each stage of their wedding. From the bridesmaids dresses to the wine served at dinner. We started the day at at the Courtyard Mariott, where both Lisa and Kevin got ready with bridesmaids and ushers. With a little help from our taxi friend, we captured some awesome shots of Lisa and Kevin being whisked away to say "i do."

Lisa and Kevin chose to do two ceremonies to celebrate both of their different traditions. In honor of Kevin's family, it is customary to do a tea ceremony. Red symbolizes the color of success, loyalty, honor, fertility, passion, love and happiness. These are all ideal conditions for a happy marriage. We saw this color appear in the tea cups as well as the gifts presented to them. It was a beautiful sight. 

A traditional ceremony then took place in honor of Lisa. It started at dusk, with the sun setting in the background. Glowing candles illuminated the isle leading right up to Lisa and Kevin, where they officially became husband and wife. After their vows, we moved inside where dinner was served and friends and family danced the night away.
